About
Scott Abernathy, called “Coach” by everyone. Coach was an Athletic Director and Head Football Coach in the Shreveport, LA area for 30 years. Coach will be serving Hargrove Roofing as its branch manager in Austin.
He was raised in Haughton and graduated from Haughton High School.
After receiving his BS degree from Louisiana Tech, he started his career as teacher and coach at CE Byrd High.
Coach’s background is educational leadership and culture development.
Coach, his wife Lindsay and son Max live in Leander, TX while his other sons, Jaden and Jackson live in Ruston, LA and attend Louisiana Tech.
