Mae H. O'Brien

Mae Hargrove O’Brien grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is the little sister Billy.

She graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 2012. She then earned her degree in Child and Family Studies at Louisiana State University.  At LSU, she pledged Delta Delta Delta sorority. Mae graduated from LSU in May of 2017 and moved to Midland, TX in August 2017. Mae worked as a Kindergarten teacher at Hillcrest Elementary in Midland, TX.  Mae recently married her high school sweetheart, Whit. Soon after their wedding, they  moved to Houston, TX where Mae will grow the family business, Hargrove Roofing.

In her free time, Mae enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, exercise, reading, shopping, and cooking. She is looking forward to learning more about the Junior League of Houston, becoming more involved in the community, and meeting new people.
